We described Miss Scarlett as available to a working home. She would be great for agility or homestead. She is very bright and will need an experienced trainer. It turns out that she is going into partnership with Sarah, one of my daughters. Sarah has taken her to puppy agility where she ended up taking private lessons as the trainer felt the regular classes would be too much too slow for her. She is VERY enthusiastic about life in general! Scarlett is learning to tone it down some around the animals. She is very biddable and offers a lot of behaviors so she has been loads of fun for Sarah to work with. Did I mention that Sarah would like to become a professional dog trainer?

THOR is a nice laid back law enforcer. He watches to see what the rules are and wants to enforce them. Good small farm family dog. Thor has gone home to his forever home. He is a great pet, an easy going farm dog and just the kind of middle of the road guy that makes him ideal for a lot of situations.
I was too cautious about placing him when he was a pup thinking he might not be able to satisfy people's desires for a working dog but he surely would have. My husband could easily live without a dog on the entire planet but when he goes to work out in the yard he calls for Thor to accompany him and just enjoys watching Thor's beauty and knowing if he calls him Thor will be right at his feet in an instant. Thor loves the grandchildren too.

GOLDEN GIRL aka Gemma, has gone to a wonderful home in  Ottawa, Canada. Gemma is a real gem! Her Mom and Dad are quite pleased with her. She is a beauty, intelligent and easy to live with. What more can I say?

BROWNIE is living in NY. Brownie has become Bella and quite the spoiled princess. My son and his wife wanted a pup and I chose her for them since she was such an obedient little girl and I would eventually like to breed her to continue the bloodlines if she matures well.

SUGAR & SPICE-aka Bailey lives in Ohio. Bailey has grown to be a beauty. She is still keeping her Mom and Dad on their toes. She is quite the bright girl trying out the limits. She loves going out in the car and visiting people!

RANGER is a little more independent, he likes to be outside but is ready to bond very deeply with the right person who can win his respect. Good potential small homestead dog.  Ranger has apparently found his person. After I turned down some potential people it turned out that Ranger is going to stay here with my son who "doesn't like dogs"! Jason watched a Skidboots video and was inspired to start training Ranger. Jason is the juggler/ animal balloon/ entertainer in our family so he is teaching Ranger some odd things.  They are developing into a nice partnership. Jason has been volunteering at a church camp for a month and I was working a little with Ranger to keep him up to snuff. I indicated for him to get up on a chair, which he readily did but I was a bit surprised when he continued onto my dining room table! The dog is willing and eager to do anything. Ranger is turning out to be a very mellow farmstead dog, easy to have around all the livestock.
